Tamiya Colour Spray Paints

This specific metallic silver paint is designed to simulate aluminum surfaces used on aircraft.

• For best results it is highly recommended that you use TS-14 BLACK as an undercoat applied directly to the plastic model and not on a primer surface.

• If TS-83 is applied directly to plastic surface, the finish may not be smooth and paint may lift when masking tapes are removed.

• Do not apply a clear coat over this paint. Also take care when applying masks to avoid damaging the painted surface.

These cans of spray paint are extremely useful for painting large surfaces. The paint is synthetic lacquer that cures in a short period of time. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is enough to fully cover two or three 1/24 scale sized car bodies. Tamiya spray paints are not affected by acrylic or enamel paints; therefore, following an overall base coat, details can be added or picked out using enamel and/or acrylic paints. By combining the use of these three types of paints, the finishing of plastic models becomes simpler and more effective. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is enough to fully cover 2 or 3, 1/24 scale sized car model bodies.

NOTE: TAMIYA TS paint is not designed to be used with clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN R/C body shells. The paint will flake off. For Polycarbonate applications please use Tamiya PS spray paint.
