Meet the Team

Andrew Hutton

Store Manager

Andrew has a vast range of knowledge and experience in the hobby industry, along with 35 years in the retail sector. He is a specialist in all things slot cars and has a keen interest in automobiles and military history.

As the store manager, Andrew is responsible for keeping the shop running smoothly; including ordering stock, processing web orders and helping with customer queries.

In his spare time, he’s currently working on building several custom drag slot cars and planning an OO9 narrow gauge model railway.

Andrew’s always happy to have a chat and offer good advice, whether you’re thinking about a new slot car set, model railway or just adding to your collection.


Evan Densem-Gardner

Technical Specialist

In-store Evan works alongside Andrew to fulfil web orders and serve customers, as well as being responsible for maintaining the website and loading new stock.

Evan grew up surrounded by trains, planes and models and has dabbled in all sorts of modelling, including painting wargaming miniatures, constructing architectural models and building dioramas.

He studied Design and Architecture, but railways will always be his main passion. His current hobby focus is modelling the West Highland Extension in Scotland in N gauge. Sometimes he even manages to finish a plastic kitset.

Evan is always happy to offer help and advice; His specialty being model railway scenery and weathering.
