Water Towers were used to collect and store the water that would be used to power steam locomotives. Inspired by a water tower that was used at the Dinorwic Slate Quarry, this model from Scenecraft features a water tank mounted on an slate base with stairs leading to the tank. It may be used in combination with the Slate Built Engine Shed (47-0101) and Slate Built Coal Store (47-0103) to depict a full Dinorwic shed scene.
