As an alternative to our R8250 Controller, the Analogue Train and Accessory Controller features an improved, heavier casing, as well as an additional uncontrolled DC output with integral capacitor discharge unit (CDU) to support solenoid point motors. The Auxiliary output can also be used to power lighting on the layout up to a current of 150mA. A recessed reduction switch also limits the output to reduce loco speed.

I was very impressed with delivery . It was much quicker than I expected , beautifully packaged and exactly what we ordered . Unfortunately the controller won’t restart if you stop the train and you have to turn it off at the mains and wait a couple of minutes before it starts again . If the young man it’s for had enough patience to send it back I would have done but he doesn’t want to be without it for a week or two while it’s sent back and replaced as he won’t be a le to run his train .
