BR, A3 Class, 'Flying Scotsman' With Steam Generator, Diecast Footplate & Flickering Firebox - Era 4
The exceptional ‘Flying Scotsman’ underwent several renumbering, from No. 103 by LNER after being rebuilt to A3 Class specification in 1947 to No. 60103 by BR after the nationalisation of the railways in Britain. After being converted to left hand drive and painted BR Green – also known as Brunswick Green – the ‘Flying Scotsman’ has been crafted to include the new Hornby Steam Generator, as well as a flickering firebox for added realism.

HM | DCC and the HM7000 decoders have been extensively tested up to a max of 14 non-stationary, running locomotives. HM | DCC and the HM7000 decoders have been extensively tested on iOS devices dating as far back as 5 years from today's date. Any devices older than this cannot be commented on for proper function by Hornby Hobbies. Please ensure that the incompatibility list is considered prior to any purchase.

In December 1948 ‘Flying Scotsman’ was once again renumbered as a result of the nationalisation of the railways, becoming No. 60103. In 1954 the locomotive was converted to left hand drive and painted into BR Green, also known as Brunswick Green.
