Snap-fit kit - no glue or paint needed.
The standard edition of Fujimi's Chibimaru Mecha King Ghidorah (No. 10), first released in April 2025 as a 70th Anniversary version. It's based on Mecha King Ghidorah from the 1991 film Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. Chibimaru kits are cute, deformed (non-scale) versions of the Godzilla film monsters, and easy enough for a first-time builder.
It's a big kit for the series, with 179 parts on 27 runners in five colours (gold, silver, white, red and clear green). The gates let you remove parts from the runners by hand without nippers, and two sheets of pre-cut stickers supply the painted detail.
It's highly poseable, with movement in the head, body, wings, legs and tail. The jaws work on ball joints, each original neck has three ball-jointed points, the mechanical centre neck has six, the legs two and the tail four. The laser cannon in the centre mouth is a separate part, the mecha head has clear green eyes, and the original heads' eyes are pre-cut stickers in a choice of three colours and patterns. Metallic spring pipes recreate the conductor cables from the cockpit and flex as the necks move.
