The "500 K" made its debut at the 1934 Berlin Motor Show. The "K" no longer referred to the short-wheelbase model, but to the supercharged model. With this car, Hans Nibel had created a masterpiece of beauty that was also an extremely modern car. The lines of the "500 K" were intended to symbolize the rebirth of the Kriegsmarine.
