Once the ?lighthouses? of the road, these striking boxes were an invaluable aid to the motorist, being a place for directions and breakdown assistance during a trip around the country. First introduced in the early 20th century, they were a common sight on British highways until the late 1980s.

We have modelled the RAC?s ?Hudlass Box? with its charming blue and white design and the AA?s ?Sentry Box? with its striking black and yellow colour scheme ? both are sure to add a vintage touch to any layout.
