NZ Locomotives
Frateschi locomotives are HO Scale (1:87) and run on OO/HO gauge track (16.5mm), such as Hornby, Peco, Bachmann, Walthers etc.
Couplers are European (Lima type) and are not compatible with Hornby/Bachmann hook-and-loop or American knuckle type. Modification to fit a Hornby/Bachmann, Kadee type or NEM pocket etc is possible, but challenging. We suggest using an adapter wagon with NEM pockets (Frateschi type coupler on one end and one matching your rolling stock on the other.)
Frateschi locomotives are not DCC-Ready, though hard-wiring of a decoder is possible:
