The 'A1 Trust', builders of the A1 locomotive 'Tornado', are currently in the process of building a continuation of the P2 Class; 2007 'Prince of Wales'. While this locomotive will be based on 2001 'Cock O' the North', 2007 will incorporate some changes such as sharing a boiler design with A1 'Tornado' and an improved pony truck design.

New ZealandAmazing locomotive
I bought this locomotive as my first foray into DCC. Getting sound in a loco adds an extra dimension that is really enjoyable and the further addition of vapour makes it a brilliant experience. My kids love watching this train chuff round on our layout and it has rekindled their love of it. The loco runs smoothly around 3rd radius turns but I don’t think it would be happy with a sustained 2nd radius curve. It is happy with short sections and has managed to navigate a lot of Hornby settrack points successfully.
