History

The Bristol Blenheim was initially developed as a privately funded high-speed civilian aircraft, aimed at claiming the title of Europe's fastest civilian aircraft from the Germans. After achieving this goal, it quickly caught the eye of the RAF. At the beginning of the Second World War, the Blenheim was present in greater numbers than any other RAF aircraft.
