The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is second only to the B-52 in length of continuous service with the US Air Force. Introduced in 1956, the C-130 has been the primary medium-lift cargo aircraft ever since. The new C-130 J-30 is fitted with Rolls Royce turboprop engines and the new Dowty six-bladed propellors. This transport will serve well into the 21st Century. This highly-detailed 1/144th scale model from Academy accurately depicts the look of the new Super Hercules with six marking options.
